Honda Earns Most KBB.com Awards in 2015

Honda vehicles are about as decorated as any auto brand in the world, and while a lot of those accolades come with huge trophies from long-standing, respected organizations, there isn’t a single honor that your San Diego Honda dealership takes for granted, particularly those from online auto valuation website Kelley Blue Book.


Those that read the Pacific Honda blog often enough know we occasionally site the KBB.com lists, which typically highlight the models they consider to offer the most value, or the best technology, or the most luxury. Some are even so simple as to highlight which automobiles they feel are the coolest in a given price range. KBB.com doesn’t always use the most scientific processes to come to their conclusions, but the results are almost always fun, particularly when those results are as Honda-heavy as they typically are.

In fact, Honda officially is the most-awarded auto brand this past model year, at least in terms of KBB.com mentions, as four models recently made their “Top 10 Most-Awarded Cars for 2015” list. Two models – the 2015 Honda Accord and the 2015 Honda Civic – were mentioned in the top five, but both the 2015 Honda CR-V and 2015 Honda Fit were on the list, as well.

The Civic was the big winner this past year, winning the top overall slot on the list of most-awarded cars. Having earned a spot on every list from “10 Best Family Cars” to “10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000,” the Civic is seemingly mentioned in almost every KBB.com list it’s eligible for.

We look forward to seeing what honors the completely-redesigned 2016 Honda Civic earns next model year, but for now we’re grateful for its accomplishments just ahead of its refresh!
