Honda Planning Plug-In Option for 2018 CR-V
We say this here at Pacific Honda all the time as part of our sales pitch, but the Honda CR-V is now and has been for quite some time the best-selling SUV in the industry right now. That’s not just in terms of the Honda lineup, but among all automakers develop sport utility vehicles in the U.S., and to keep things that way Honda engineers are currently working very hard to develop a next-generation CR-V that keeps the good times rolling.

Honda Documentary Series Honors N600
While Honda has a rich and interesting history spanning decades, the automaker got its start here in the United States back in 1969 with the Honda N600, and that small, Japanese-made model was interesting and ground-breaking enough then to help initiate a revolution in the automotive world. Consumers found themselves leaning more toward those smaller autos rather than the gigantic boat-shaped ones produced by the manufacturers in Detroit, and it was through that early success that Honda made its mark in the U.S.

Five Honda Models Named U.S. News "Best Buys"
One of the most amazing things about Honda as a brand is its ability to string together a ton of excellent features for prices that are surprisingly reasonable. That’s not an easy thing to do as the hottest new technologies and most lavish creature comforts tend to be the sorts of things that add cost onto the overall price of a vehicle, but Honda continues to provide an equitable balance between the sticker and the features, and for that reason U.S. News and World Report recently included the 2016 Honda HR-V, 2016 Honda Civic, 2016 Honda Pilot, 2016 Honda Odyssey and 2016 Honda Fit on this year’s “Best Cars for the Money” list.

2016 Honda Civic Named North American Car of the Year
We’ve been saying it for months, but it continues to look like 2016 will be The Year of the Civic for just about every Honda dealership across the country, and why shouldn’t it be considering all the praise it’s continued to garner following its debut last year? Already the accolades for this most recent version of the best-selling automobile in the history of Honda are pouring in, and the 2016 North American Car of the Year award is just the most recent on that list.

2016 Honda Models to Get Apple CarPlay
Once every few years, somebody comes up with an in-car technology that completely changes the way that people enjoy their automobiles. There was a time before windshield wipers, for example. Imagine how much easier life was after those came along!
Someday, we may say the same thing about Apple CarPlay, an in-car system that runs iOS and iOS apps through the vehicle’s touchscreen or through voice commands, and as your Honda dealership we are very excited to announce that certain Honda models will, for the first time, feature this slick new bit of tech for the 2016 model year.

Honda May Add HondaVAC to More Odyssey Models
Honda always has strived to be an innovative brand when it comes to technology, and they proved that in an especially unique way back in 2014 when they debuted a range-topping version of the 2014 Honda Odyssey that featured a built-in HondaVAC vacuum cleaner.
Situated just inside an interior rear panel of the minivan, the HondaVAC is a perfect tool for families with children who make incredible messes when riding inside the family vehicle. Rather than lugging around a shop vac (which is impossible) or even a clutter-creating dust-buster, Honda introduced this vacuum cleaner to make life easier for consumers.

2016 Honda CR-V Earns 5-Star Safety Rating
While it’s easy to look at all the bells and whistles that automakers offer these days in their safety technology suites, the truth is that automakers put a lot of work into making their automobiles as safe as possible in ways that aren’t even remotely complicated. While it’s great that so many new Honda vehicles offer blind spot monitoring and other such advanced safety tech, sometimes it really is as simple as designing a car that crumples appropriately upon impact. It doesn’t sound like much, but keeping the cabin of a vehicle secure is the first step in making sure everybody in the vehicle is safe when it matters most.

Get More for Less with 2016 Honda Odyssey SE
One thing we’ve learned over the course of the last several years selling the Honda Odyssey is that it’s a minivan good enough to make people forget that they “have” to buy a minivan. The truth is that for a lot of families there really isn’t a better people pusher than a minivan, and as your Honda dealership we obviously think that the 2016 Honda Odyssey is the most stylish, comfortable and complete of the options that currently exist in today’s market.

2015 Honda Fit, CR-V Win Satisfaction Awards
The primary concern of every Honda dealership in the country, it’s safe to say, is customer satisfaction. Obviously that can be broken down into a lot of other little categories, but whether we’re talking about sales or service or even the vehicles themselves, everything amounts to how happy we can make our customers. Knowing that, it’s always a huge honor when a Honda model wins an award selected in some way by the customers themselves, and the 2015 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are an excellent example of that.

Honda Owns "Car Wars" Report
The auto industry is essentially an arms race, with every automaker on the face of the planet constantly trying to one-up the competition by offering more features in newer models with updated technology and improved efficiency and safety. It’s not easy to stay ahead of this curve, but Honda always does a good job giving consumers a nice balance between cost and value, which is why it wasn’t all that surprising to see Honda do so well in this year’s Merryll Lynch “Car Wars” report.

2015 Honda Fit Among Coolest Cars Under $18K
The completely-redesigned 2015 Honda Fit is a really interesting little vehicle for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that it somehow takes a class of vehicles – subcompact hatches – and makes it cool.
On the one hand, these vehicles always have existed to give consumers an inexpensive new vehicle option that also happens to offer some measure of utility, but price typically has been the operative word in this segment, and we’ve certainly seen some of the competition release some vehicles that were inexpensive but didn’t offer much else.

2015 Honda Civic Named Top Car for College Grads
For a lot of consumers, buying a new vehicle is as simple as deciding which car, truck or SUV they want, figuring out how to fit that vehicle into their budgets, and then visiting their friendly neighborhood Honda dealership to go through the process of actually taking that vehicle home. The whole ordeal should generally be pretty stress-free.

Honda FCV Coming in 2016
For over a decade now, we’ve all looked at hybrid vehicles as the greenest automobiles that engineers have had to offer. EVs, of course, have changed that over the course of the last couple years, but Honda is close to releasing a vehicle with the cleanest, greenest fuel source of them all: hydrogen.

Honda Officially Debuts 2016 Honda HR-V
Longtime Pacific Honda customers know that Honda is mostly in the business of fine-tuning its current batch of vehicles rather than constantly introducing loads of new ones every year, mostly because the models we currently sell have been so popular for so long with so many different types of customers.

2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Among Coolest Green Cars
When “Car and Driver” magazine recently released their list of “10 Green Cars That Don’t Suck,” it could be easy to miss the double-meaning of the list’s title. Obviously, these are meant to be good cars, not undesirable ones, but they also are lauded for sipping gas rather than sucking it down. In short, every car on the list, including the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid, is praised for walking what has to date been a pretty shaky tightrope between environmental friendliness and luxury, performance and good looks.

Honda Vehicles To Feature Android Auto OS
These days, nearly everybody has access to a smart device, whether it be an Apple iPhone or one of several different Android devices, which run an operating system developed by Google. Debating which of the two is better is a long-standing debate that has no easy answer, and now it appears as though the conversation will spill into the auto world, as both Apple and Google are developing versions of their mobile operating systems for cars’ infotainment systems.

Pacific Honda Offers Great Financing Options for All Credit
There are a lot of people in the world who believe that since they have bad credit (or no credit at all), they will never be approved for an auto loan sizeable enough to get them the vehicle they really want. The truth is that here at Pacific Honda, we’ve seen all kinds of credit scores, some of which have been pretty low, but an overwhelming majority of the time we’re able to get these customers financing anyway.
