2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Among Coolest Green Cars
When “Car and Driver” magazine recently released their list of “10 Green Cars That Don’t Suck,” it could be easy to miss the double-meaning of the list’s title. Obviously, these are meant to be good cars, not undesirable ones, but they also are lauded for sipping gas rather than sucking it down. In short, every car on the list, including the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid, is praised for walking what has to date been a pretty shaky tightrope between environmental friendliness and luxury, performance and good looks.
Up until recently, it’s been hard to find vehicles that could manage high efficiency numbers and all those other great things that consumers look for in a vehicle, but the Accord is a great example of a car that has managed to stretch a gallon of gas without compromising in other areas.
The standard Accord is one of the most critically-acclaimed automobiles in the industry, thanks to its great technological features, elite safety ratings, long-established reliability and of course good looks. Throw in the added efficiency one gets with the hybrid version of the car, and it’s hard not to see this is as one of the most desirable all-around green vehicles in the industry right now.
As your friendly neighborhood Honda dealership, we love that our vehicles are, in general, efficient and environmentally friendly, but the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid is a good mix of that efficiency and many other desirable car qualities. In short, it doesn't suck.
