2017 Honda Accord vs. Competitors

It isn’t easy deciding which vehicle to buy, especially in a time when so many automobiles appear on the surface to be so comparable. In the case of midsize sedans, still one of the most competitive segments of automobile on the face of the planet right now, there are a number of options that could make sense for buyers. But here at Pacific Honda, we stand behind the idea that no vehicle is going to do better for our San Diego, CA customers than the 2017 Honda Accord.

Not that there aren’t competitors. The Hyundai Sonata, Chevrolet Malibu, and Toyota Camry all are in the same automotive segment, and while all of them share basic characteristics, such as seating for five and reasonably efficient engines, they’re different enough to make the Honda Accord really stand out.

For starters, while all four obviously are four-door sedans, the Honda Accord is perhaps the loveliest of the batch. The Chevy Malibu is too blocky, the Toyota Camry is too angular, and the Hyundai Sonata is too conservative. Only the Honda Accord works best between class and modern design in a way that makes it most attractive to customers.

Also, the Honda Accord has one of the widest ranges of engine options and advanced safety features of all the aforementioned models. Furthermore, like all Honda cars, the new Honda Accord boasts awesome, easy-to-use infotainment technology and plenty of interior space. Competitors have tried to match what Honda has done with this vehicle, but some vehicles are just too good.

If you’d like to try out the 2017 Honda Accord for yourself, stop by Pacific Honda any time and we’ll be happy to get you behind the wheel to test drive it. You’ll see very quickly just how well it tops the competition!
