Crossovers are popular right now and green cars get more
attention by the day. So it only makes sense that one of our favorite Honda
crossovers is getting the hybrid treatment. We're talking about the 2020
Honda CR-V of course. All of us at Pacific Honda are getting ready to
welcome this updated, greener Honda model.
The big news is the first time availability of a hybrid
model, but this new Honda crossover is getting some other upgrades for the 2020 model year as
well. The exterior has received a slight refresh. You'll notice changes like
new fog light openings, a more prominent chrome grille, and new tailpipe
finishers on the high-end Touring trim level. You can also choose from some new
paint colors, including Sonic Gray Pearl and Radiant Red Metallic.
Inside, you'll find a more ergonomic console and new
features, like wireless smartphone charging on the Touring model. The 2.4-liter
engine, once found in the base EX trim level, has been ditched for the new
model year. Each conventional 2020 Honda CR-V gets the 1.5-liter four-cylinder
turbo engine that puts out 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque.
The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid is available in multiple trim
levels and offers everything you love about this crossover along with even
better fuel economy numbers. It's powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine aside
two electric motors. Total output should be around 212 horsepower. Drivers who
want a green car that offers a great driving experience, cargo space, and the
latest tech should be eagerly awaiting this new Honda model's winter release.
So if you're in the market for a new crossover or green
vehicle, make our San
Diego Honda dealership your first stop. Whether you're looking for a
current model or an upcoming vehicle like the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, we're
ready to help!
