Honda Fit, Civic, HR-V Prove Great for Students

There may be a certain contingent of high school and college students out in the world today who need a car and would happily take ownership of just about anything they could reasonably get their hands on as long as the price was right. That falls into the whole “beggars can’t be choosers” philosophy of car-buying, but thanks to an avalanche of great new Honda cars and SUVs that are both affordable and desirable in other areas, students actually can be choosers. In fact, they’ve got more terrific choices than they’ve ever had!

Kelley Blue Book points this out in their most recent list of “10 Best Back-to-School Cars 2016,”¹ as three Honda models were named among the top four vehicles in this year’s group.

Those three models include the 2016 Honda Fit, the 2016 Honda Civic, and the 2016 Honda HR-V, and what each of them have in common is that they are, first and foremost, affordable automobiles that also just so happen to offer some great technologies, slick infotainment systems, efficient engines, and lovely aesthetics. They also all are surprisingly roomy, though the Honda Fit, which finished at the top of the KBB.com list once again this year, was praised most loudly for its Magic Seat, which creates more storage space than anything in its segment and far and away provides the lowest price of the three.
