American-Made Honda Cars

The Honda brand may be based in Japan, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't support a significant number of American manufacturing jobs. In fact, according to a recent survey some of these Japanese cars are, by some measures, even more American than the typical American vehicle! Cars.com recently released its American-Made Index, showcasing models that are built in the United States using American parts, and many of our favorite Honda models made the list.

The 2019 Honda Odyssey was the first to make the list. SUVs and crossovers may be getting the bulk of the attention right now, but if you're looking for a great family vehicle you can't go wrong with this stylish minivan. It offers unique features, like an in-car PA system, alongside the latest tech and Honda Sensing® safety upgrades.

Then there's the 2019 Honda Ridgeline. You may not think of pickup trucks right away when the Honda brand comes to mind, but you really should give this model a closer look. It offers innovative features, like a dual-action tailgate and truck-bed audio system, that competing vehicles just don't match.

Then there's the newest member of our lineup, the 2019 Honda Passport. This is the perfect crossover for off-road adventuring thanks to an advanced all-wheel drive system. Everything you love about our crossovers and SUVs is present in this new Honda model. You just get it in a slightly more rugged package. All three of these vehicles are built in Lincoln, Alabama and use a wide range of American parts.

So if you're looking for a dependable vehicle that combines the best of American and Japanese manufacturing know-how, visit Pacific Honda serving San Diego. Our expert Honda dealers will help you pick out the perfect car, truck, or SUV!
