Four Honda Models Lead the Charge in Safety Domination

We talk about safety a lot in this space, but it’s hard not to when so many Honda vehicles have done so many really good things in that arena. In fact, of all the things that continue to set Honda apart from so much of the competition, high crash test scores and elite safety ratings across the board are among the most important of them. So far in the 2016 model year, nothing has changed along those lines as we continue to offer some of the safest automobiles in the industry.

2016 Honda Accord Touring Offers The Best of Accord Range

Nothing makes the heart of an auto dealership swell with pride like a glowing review from a respected publication like the New York Daily News, which is why we were so glad to see their Jim Travers recently write a review for the 2016 Honda Accord Touring model lauding it for balancing practicality as a family vehicle with the speed, power and agility of a sports sedan. While any Accord model could make consumers plenty happy, this particular trim, currently sitting atop the Accord lineup, is arguably the most desirable iteration of one of our best-selling automobiles. Already the accolades for this most recent version of the best-selling automobile in the history of Honda are pouring in, and the 2016 North American Car of the Year award is just the most recent on that list.

Honda Debuts New Ad Campaign for Civic

It used to be that if an automaker wanted to advertise a new or redesigned model like the 2016 Honda Civic to the masses, they would have to plan a widespread television campaign that reached all those millions of people sitting down in front of the tube at night to take in their usual array of shows, but times have changed considerably for automakers. Fewer and fewer people actually have standard cable subscriptions and those that do tend to fast forward through the commercials on DVR.

Honda Bringing Ridgeline Back in 2016

Fans of the Honda Ridgeline pickup truck know that the model took a year of production off so that engineers could put together a stunning new next-generation version of the vehicle, which means after seeing no new Ridgeline models during the 2015 model year, Honda is ready to debut the redesigned 2016 Honda Ridgeline at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit later this month.

2016 Honda CR-V Earns NHSTA 5-Star Rating, Too

For those that weren’t aware, there are two main safety-centric organizations that perform crash tests on all automotive models in a given year: the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the federal government’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While both are rather stringent in the tests that they perform, they have the same basic modus operandi in helping consumers choose automobiles that are going to protect them in the event of an unforeseen accident.
