Four Honda Vehicles Named to List of Top Family-Friendly Cars

While there’s no question that certain Honda models make great everyday commuter vehicles, San Diego Honda drivers aren’t just individuals going to and from work every day; they’re also people that are toting around spouses and children and parents and friends, so we’re very proud of the fact that so many of our dealership's vehicles make such great family cars.


For that reason, we’re feeling very family-centric these days, particularly since Kelley Blue Book recently named four of our models among their “12 Best Family Cars of 2014.” For those of you not interested in doing the math yourselves, that means Honda was responsible for one-third of the vehicles on the list, which obviously was more than any other automaker in the industry.

The models chosen for the list included the 2014 Honda Accord, 2014 Honda CR-V, 2014 Honda Pilot, and 2014 Honda Odyssey. They were chosen by editors and real families who test-drove the vehicles looking for family-friendly features like strong safety scores and abundant safety features, overall comfort, and child friendliness.

Each of these vehicles is undeniably spacious for its segment, and all of them have performed extremely well in crash tests from both the IIHS and NHTSA. The 2014 Honda Odyssey has features like backseat entertainment and a built-in vacuum cleaner, but all of these vehicles are comfortable and safe for passengers of any age.

We’re always flattered to see the vehicles we sell included on one of these KBB lists, but since we love working with families so much, this one sure does mean a lot.
