2019 Honda Ridgeline: Your Favorite New American Truck?

2019 Honda Ridgeline, in stock now at Pacific Honda, is as all-American as a California Roll.Smaller, more maneuverable, and more efficient, it’s a nice counterpoint to the overwrought models offered by its competition.

The Honda Ridgeline shares a lot with another new Honda model, the Honda Pilot. The platform is the same, combining unibody construction with unique perimeter rails that enable it to tow more and off-road better than a conventional crossover. The driveline choices (FWD and AWD) are identical, as is the powertrain that moves them — a 280 hp i-VTEC® V-6 engine in tandem with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Not only can it tow 3,500 pounds in FWD, or 5,000 pounds with AWD, it comes with another advantage. The handling is closer to an SUV than the typical truck. It’s more highway-friendly (and wallet-friendly).

The innovation doesn’t stop there. Inside the cabin, you’ll find an 8-way power driver’s seat that keeps you comfortable while you drive and enjoy Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™. You’re kept safe by the Honda Sensing® suite, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning, and lane departure warning.

There are many other standard and optional features, like the in-bed audio system, an in-bed trunk that features a built-in cooler, and a dual-action liftgate. Your Honda dealer will have more details, needless to say.

It seems like more and more people are coming around to the unique charms of the Honda Ridgeline. Once ahead of its time, it now seems right at home on the roads around San Diego and across America. Come to Pacific Honda at 4761 Convoy St. in San Diego, CA for a closer look, or call 858-694-1000 to arrange your test drive.

  1. The great thing is that it can pull as much as 5,000 and how you write is wallet-friendly. It is difficult to find a truck of this type for yourself that will work comfortably on the highway and here I am asking.

  2. Choosing a truck to suit your needs is quite a difficult task. Everyone finally has different preferences and needs. However, the car you are showing can be put in the "multitasking" frame.

  3. I would like to have such a car. A good engine with large power and large dimensions. For this, he's very cool on the highway. Something for me and pulling my campsite.
