2015 Honda Fit Debuting at North American International Auto Show

For those of you that weren’t aware, the 2014 North American International Auto Show goes down next month in the Motor City, and we here at Pacific Honda are extremely excited about this because it was recently announced that this show would be the forum for the debut of the all-new 2015 Honda Fit.

In making this announcement, Honda also released an image of the new version of our subcompact hatch, and it’s a glowing lemon-lime beacon of automotive delight. The picture is only a partial one, though, zooming in on the driver-side taillight and left half of the liftgate, but it’s enough for us to get excited about knocking the competition out of the water in this segment, as the Honda Fit has done for years.

We don’t yet know for sure know what sort of drivetrain the new Fit will use, but so far Honda has let it be known that it will utilize the Earth Dreams Technology engine, which is probably going to be a four-cylinder machine that uses standard gasoline.

The other little bit of good news is that the new 2015 Honda Fit will be built in a North American plant for the first time, meaning delivery times will be significantly shorter, especially for those of us located in Southern California.

We can’t wait for this car to join our excellent new Honda inventory, but we’ll have to wait at least a few more weeks until we get our first up-close look at the vehicle when it debuts in Detroit next month. Until then, we’ll exercise patience without sacrificing excitement!
