Honda Models Given Edmunds' Highest Accolade

Honda is no stranger to accolades, as a quick perusal of the automaker’s “awards and recognition” page will prove, but while sometimes those awards are for one specific model or one general feature, we here at Pacific Honda particularly enjoy the accolades that just praise a model for being top-to-bottom wonderful. Sometimes, like in the case of the Edmunds Top Rated Car Awards, we get to bask in the glow of several Honda vehicles being honored in such a way.



For the 2014 calendar year, several new Honda models were given an “A” rating by the respected online car review site, including the 2014 Honda Accord, 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid, 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid, 2014 Honda Civic Sedan, 2014 Honda CR-V, 2015 Honda Fit and 2014 Honda Odyssey.




To receive an overall “A” grade, a vehicle must score well when tested by one of Edmunds’ respected evaluators. These people drive over 200 vehicles a year, so they’ve got a good sense of which ones stand out, and when one does all the things well that need to be done well, they get a good grade. When they get the best grade, they earn themselves a spot among Edmunds’ Top Rated Cars.




Obviously, we’re of the belief that all of our cars are best values, but the reality is that nearly all of them have made Edmunds’ most prestigious list. Knowing that, it probably won’t be long before the rest of the stable joins them, but in the meantime we’re proud of the ones that are already there!
