To say that we’re excited about the all-new 2013 Honda Accord would be a massive understatement, evidenced by the fact that we sure have spent a lot of time talking about it over the course of the last few months. But we don’t want you getting the wrong idea that older models of Accord are any less important to us; like a parent who loves all his or her children equally, we hold fondness in our hearts for all our models, even the ones that are a few years old.
Actually, Kiplinger seems to love our children as well, since they named both the 2010 Honda Accord and the 2009 Honda CR-V among their Best Values in Used Cars for 2013. This list looks at vehicles that scored well in performance, safety, and value when they were originally released, then compares that to current prices and reliability scores. Obviously, the used Honda Accord and CR-V did well in these categories, which makes them both among our most popular Certified Pre-Owned models.
In Mira Mesa, Honda Accord drivers of the various 8th generation models have been very happy with their purchases thanks to a spacious and comfortable interior, reasonable efficiency and power, and of course the reliability that comes with owning a Honda. The CR-V, meanwhile, was noted for its great safety scores, diverse storage areas, and popular crossover body style.
And, since these would be Certified Pre-Owned if purchased through us, they’d come with an extended warranty and all the great service that we here at Pacific Honda love to provide. Sure, the new versions of these cars are great, but as Kiplinger is helping to point out, the older iterations are definitely solid, as well.
