Honda Fit, Odyssey, CR-V Named Among Best Used Vehicles

We are all systems go right now for the all-new 2014 Honda Fit, which represents a complete redesign for a tremendous riser among our stable of vehicles, but in the midst of getting so excited about it, we kind of forgot something pretty important: our stock of used Honda Fit models are pretty darn good, too.

Really, a used or Certified Pre-Owned Honda vehicle is a strong purchase no matter what the model, but we were particularly flattered recently to see the Fit, as well as the Accord, Odyssey, and CR-V, featured on an Edmunds.com list of the “Best Used Cars for 2013.”

To make the list, a vehicle must be between two and seven years old and offer much by way of value, reliability, safety and availability. Those criteria aren’t tough to meet for our excellent cars, so we were glad to see the following cars get mentioned:
  • 2007-2011 Honda Fit – Noted for being “spirited and nimble,” this subcompact hatchback is not only fun to drive, but it’s also very efficient and plenty practical.
  • 2006-2011 Honda Accord – The coupe body style was specifically mentioned, but the Accord was lauded by Edmunds for its build quality, unparalleled reliability, and sporty handling.
  • 2006-2011 Honda CR-V – We’ve already mentioned that this is the best-selling SUV in the industry right now, and for that we can thank a spacious interior, efficient engine, and strong safety scores.
  • 2006-2011 Honda Odyssey – Thanks to a strong V6 engine, a large and comfortable interior, amazing crash test scores, and arguably the smoothest minivan exterior design in existence, the Odyssey is no surprise on this list.
In San Diego, used Honda cars are relatively easy to come by, but if you’re seriously considering buying one, we’d urge you to follow the suggestion of Edmunds and buy one of the aforementioned vehicles.
